Just to back date the first story to December...

My Name is Kelvin as I'm sure if you came here you know.

This blog is to update friends, family, sponsors, and supporters as I will be getting off of most social media

Recently in my life there has been great news, good news, bad news, and meh...

but I cant complain, this has been a year of all of my previous 5 years finally culminating and combining into a great life that my wife Sara and I have developed together.

who am I?

medically and honorably retired military, with a condition known as "Exercise Induced Anaphylaxis"
this has single handedly also disabled my vision, immune system, and many other personal nightmares. this is a lifelong illness and will be both the source of my renewed life and death. As it has forced my decision to keep my life an adventure.
I have served overseas in combat zones.
and am very proud of serving this great nation.


I am a white water kayak instructor
I work with and for Team River Runner, volunteering my time to assist disabled veterans, and create prosthetics to adapt to a water based world. We also work within our local communities and take kids with disabilities out on the water.

I am also a SUP instructor (Stand Up Paddleboard)
swiftwater rescue
wilderness first responder
...and many other things but I'm done tooting my own flute

I am a dirtbag through and through
this is probably misunderstood but is a term of endearment amongst wanderers

I just bought my first house and hope to make it a lifelong dream home for my family and myself
in that order on the coast of Oregon

I have finally started going back to school
(after 7 years the help and support is all appreciated haha) also if you would like to write my finals I am open to that idea :P  (kidding)

I love jokes and humor and have no bounds to the sarcasm I spit out or the jokes I tell.
this is a lifelong condition :P

I have a Service dog he doubles as my eyes and an early warning system for my anaphylaxis and is just all around pretty awesome
his name is Samson, he is a Weimereiner
most people like him way before liking me so its ok

and lastly and most importantly on July 25th of 2015 I married my best friend, Sara Cyrankiewicz
turned her into a Wilson, but that was some serious voodoo magic

I love traveling, and hearing stories from people who are actually PASSIONATE about what they do

I love kayak fishing
kayaking
fishing in general
kayaks in general
pretty much any water based sport

I HAVE DREAMS OF CATCHING A MARLIN BY KAYAK

oh and I have a 5 month long self supported trip coming up
yeah
this is real and happening and will be in a future post
